BANCOMAT Pay

BANCOMAT Pay®, is the digital payment service created by BANCOMAT, the Italian national payment scheme, which allows you to pay online and in-store through an app.

To use this service you need a smartphone with a compatible operating system (Android, iOS) and a bank account or card with IBAN in one of the participating banks. It is not necessary to have a physical PagoBANCOMAT card.

What should the user do?

The user has to select BANCOMAT Pay among the payment methods and the phone number registered for the service. At this point, the experience is transferred to the customer’s device where the operation must be confirmed.

Once authorized by the customer, the payment is completed and the transaction is concluded on the merchant site.

How to enable and use BANCOMAT Pay on Axerve Ecommerce Solutions

In order to activate BANCOMAT Pay you need to contact the assistance or sales representative.

If you want to use the paymentType tag for this method, you have to use the BANCOMATPAY value. See the section How to refer a customer to a payment method to learn more about how to use the paymentType tag.
